Chilly Days Ahead

I haven't posted any Fall leaf pictures this year since I don't really have any.  The Maple, out front, is small and the trees in the back are still small or evergreen.  But, I just had to share this.  It's not the best of pics but I tried to get the most area so I took this from the upstairs window.  The leaves are everywhere and they're not mine. smile_eyeroll

Part of me just wants to wait and see if the wind will blow them on down the street.  But, there's plenty more where these leaves came from.  It's just a couple pics but I thought you might enjoy it.

The weather has truly taken a turn here.  It's going to be in the 20's all week and with highs on the low 50's. Chilly days, that's for sure.

One more week at work and then I'm off for a week.  It will be a busy week to make sure all my outstanding work items are finished.

We are having a catered Thanksgiving dinner at work.  It's going to be Friday afternoon.  Should be fun.

I officially have a cold.  It's a nose thing.  Hopefully that will move on in a day or so.  Pulled out the Zicam and will be using that today.

Not much else going on.  I did update most all my blogs so be sure to check them out when you have time.  They are all listed on the side bar.

I hope everyone has a great day!

Nothing worse than having to deal with other's messes :o)

Out here in the country, we never rake leaves; they eventually disappear on their own.

Last week the huge leaves fell in our backyard. The wind blew them all up toward the back so Ken raked a bit today then used his mower with the mulcher on it over them and you can hardly tell they were there. He had already chopped them up once. The front yard has plenty of the smaller kind. It has got downright cold here also and going to get colder. I hope you feel better soon. Wrap up good walking to work tomorrow. Hugs, Helen
