I don't care if you sell a crappy product and your company really sucks. If you have top notch customer service your company will flourish and people will buy your product.
I don't know about you, but I demand excellent customer service. Sometimes I get it. Most of the times I have to fight for it. But Countrywide Mortgage takes the cake. I don't care what I do the customer service sucks. I stopped a refi, several years ago, because the service sucked so bad. The merger with Bank of America will not fix anything as I had to go to a VP of the bank to get customer service for a very simple issue.
What I hate are script readers. Companies need to empower their employees and allow them to think. If that's not the problem then hire people who can do more than just barely read. AND for God's sake hire in the United States.
I have worked support and customer service for the IT industry and I know how it works. But some companies don't get it. They are only looking at the bottom line and don't see ahead. Take Dell, for example. They are slipping in their market share. One reason is the outsourced customer service. It blows and it only takes one call and an hour on hold to figure that out. So, after that kind of experience people will think twice about repeat business. If a company doesn't get repeat business they will not thrive
All I ask is to have my problem addressed, and resolved by an intelligent human being with more than 5 brain cells. I do not want to jump through hoops and call 20 people on my dime (I only have a cell phone) and still not have a resolution. Is that too much to ask?
I'm coming for ya, Countrywide! Photo Credit: WikiMedia
Maybe the new year will be the year to move my mortgage.
OK, I'm done. That's my first bitch of the year. ![]()
I guess you can tell I'm beginning to feel human again. Yep, the Levaquin is doing it's job. Between that and the sinus washes I'm beginning to feel better. When I feel better, I tend to work on my finances and budgeting and stuff like that. So, Countrywide will have to bear my wrath today.
It's tax time!!! I know you didn't need any reminders. I'm ready. I want my documents to get here and get here NOW. I want the filing and crap to be over with. Then I can really put 2008 to bed.
That's about it for now. Have a great day, my friends

Hi Deb!
I totally agree with you, I get so frustrated when I have to call somewhere and I cannot understand what they are saying and no matter what I say they keep reading from their little script...AUGH! LOL any way I am glad you are better :)
Yep, sounds like the med's are working..LOL You go girl on Customer Service...I am right with you. I demand it...and if they ruffle my feathers, watch out. Hope your weekend will be a good one...hugs and love,
Joyce
I had a second throught CW a number of years ago, and it took forever to get it off my credit report after I paid it off. It took me about 3 or 4 years to get some of the old accounts to show as closed, and then my credit score finally skyrocketed. Hope you have luck moving the mortgage. Ours is through a local savings and loan, who do not sell their mortgages, and we have had zero problems.
I have to agree with you that customer service generally sucks these days. Everybody makes you feel like you are a pain the a$$ for contacting them. I am going through an ordeal with Best Buy right now and on my last phone call told the witch I hope you DO go out of business, you deserve it. LOL - they can make us meanies in a hurry!!
Glad you are feeling better.
I had a friend to have a nightmare experience with those same folks. Unfortunately companies are no longer viewing their customers/employees as valued assets. It's just hard to take. But when the companies don't value employees, the employees are sure not going to value the company and the companies customers, unless you just happen to get an employee who has scruples to over come that. lol. My first B**** of the year too - with good reason. lol
